The Click Liverpool Review

Liverpool's Best

Previously described as Liverpool's best kept secret, our quality of fresh and authentic oriental foods and first class service is a secret no more. Our flagship restaurant situated on Prescot Street, adjacent to the Royal Liverpool Hospital, has had to expand substantially to meet the demand of our growing clientele.

The Buffet Club is Merseyside's premier oriental style buffet eatery after a sensational breakthrough year which has seen the restaurant climb to the very top of the North West's most popular value eateries.

What's on Offer

With a wide range of fresh and indulgent oriental foods on offer daily, and our increasingly popular buffet boxes for both lunch and evening menus, we make no compromise on quality against cost. With over 40 different fresh dishes available each day accessible from only £3.99, you can't afford not to indulge in the best value oriental food.

We have even developed an all new takeaway menu for those wanting that very same quality and value but with even more fresh dishes on offer and all to takeaway or delivered directly to your door*.

Award Winning Restaurant

The Buffet Club was recently voted the region's number one value restaurant, priding ourselves on becoming a pioneer in these times of economic crisis and offering world class fresh food and oriental dishes at a price everyone's pocket can meet.

At the last Liverpool Food and Drink Festival our stand proved one of the most popular, while associated Chef Ian Pengelly of executive London restaurant Gilgamesh displayed a cookery master class. Plus now making Merseyside the Sui Mai capital of the UK there has never been a greater time to visit the Buffet Club.

Sui Mai Capital

Celebrity chefs Ian Pengelley and Ching-He Huang visited the Buffet Club and the city to see for themselves why Liverpool had become the capital of UK Sui Mai sales. More Sui Mai’s are sold in the North West than anywhere else in Britain and the two acclaimed chefs were out to discover why the Scouse Sui Mai’s are number one.

Ian Pengelley the head chef at London’s Gilgamesh Pan-Asian restaurant, and chef-turned-TV presenter Ching a regular on Channel Five’s Meals in Minutes, embraced the taste and aroma of the Buffet Club, the company behind Golden Dragon Foods the leading supplier of the very Sui Mai's in question.

Ching, who also hosts a popular show on the UK Food Channel, says: “I love the classic Pork Sui Mai using delicious seasoned pork and dried Chinese mushrooms. So when I was invited to try some new and unique Sui Mai dishes I just couldn’t resist.”

“How wonderful to have the most innovative and exciting new Sui Mai dumplings being served up from Golden Dragon Food, in their home town of Liverpool, which itself is home to the oldest Chinatown in the UK.”
